southern California beach bum I am a marine biologist working for the federal government. My job is tough, challenging, and very rewarding. I take weekly yoga classes for the benefits to my hockey (strength and flexibility) as well as its spiritual benefits (confidence, sense of calm, ability to focus, etc.). I ride a motorcycle both for pleasure and to get into the carpool lanes for work meetings. The gas mileage is incredible as is the feeling of the free wind. I really like riding down to the beach with a book and i-pod. I enjoy watching movies (both at home and at the theater), reading books, and finding new restaurants. I own my own house in a nice neighborhood. I am divorced with one daughter who is now living on her own while attending community college. We have a great relationship. Family is important to me. I have a scuba certification, although I haven't dove in a while. I'd like to get back into it again, but need a dive partner. I am currently living with three cats, all males.
